I want to rant about something that been bothering me in the Static Shock fandom for a long time now. I think it's gross and weird that people ship Richie with girls when he's gay. Richie was always suppose to be gay but that part of his character was censored in the show. Dwayne McDuffie has even said Richie is gay. There are hints that's he's gay in the show. Richie is also based off a gay character from the comics. So its really weird seeing him being shipped with girls knowing all that information. I came into the Static Shock fandom already knowing he's gay from reading about it on Wiki. Richie is mainly shipped with girls in fanfics on Fanficion.net. They mainly ship him with Frieda, Nina Timezone and She-bang and a bit of Madelyn. He's paired female OCs the most. This a bit off topic but the female OCs always seem to be white which kinda bothers me as a black fan cause Static Shock is a black lead show and when it comes to diverse media you shouldn't be focusing on white

Hey Bumblebee fans, I really suggest you guys read Bumblebee’s book if you haven’t read it yet from the old DC Superhero Girls, Bumblebee at Super Hero High by Lisa Yee. It’s a high school alternate universe but it did more for Bumblebee’s character than DC has done in years. The DC Superhero Girls franchise and other cartoons Bumblebee has been in has done more for Bumblebee in general. Bumblebee’s book gives her focus when she has never been given focus. She’s never been given centric stories about her in comics. This is the only Bumblebee centric book. There are other characters in the book like Beast Boy but this is HER book. She is given a origin from her own perspective, her point of view. Her origins in the comics were always from other characters perspectives like Mal and the Teen Titans. It explored her character better DC has. We see her family. We see how she feels about being a superhero. Her being a super genius is explored really well. The only thing missing is Mal

Milestone is coming back. It's revival is back on track. It still hasn't been said when it's coming back but one of it's co founders Denys Cowan has said they're moving forward bring it back. We can finally get Static back. With Milestone coming back we can not let it fail again. We need to support it, especially when it comes to Static but we need to support regardless of Static. I forget who said it, but one of the creators once said that comic fans didn't fail Milestone, comics failed Milestone. Which is true, comics changing in the 90s is what lead to Milestone's down fell along with other issues. If you've read Milestone comics or seen some of the Milestone characters in the Young Justice cartoon or just watched the Static Shock cartoon you know that Milestone has a lot of great characters and great stories and with them being gone we can't have those great characters and there are less superheroes of color with them being gone. By supporting new Milestone we are sending a
